SINGING IN KENDAL

KENDAL HARMONY SINGING – LAKELAND VOICES – community choir

You are very welcome to join our Tuesday evening harmony singing group, Lakeland Voices, regardless of previous experience – we have no auditoins.

We sing between 7.30 and 9.30pm every Tuesday in the Castle Street Centre in Kendal during term time. All the songs are taught by ear (no need to worry if you don’t read music,) and recordings of the parts are available for home study. Although we sing in our groups without the use of written music, scores are available for home study if requested.

We also have a number of optional outings each year which in the past have included singing at the Dent Folk Carols festival, hosting a festival of choirs in Kendal with over 1,000 singers, a tour of Slovenia, and many walks through the Lake District singing beside lakes and waterfalls, and in vast Lakeland caverns, and pubs.
