SETTLE CARLISLE CAROLS – SATURDAY DECEMBER 13 – 2020 

Steam train on Ribblehead ViaducT

We’re steaming off on the Settle Carlisle railway this Saturday singing Folk Carols in 2, 3 and 4 part harmony with singers from several choirs (including Lakeland Voices, Bentham Voices, Keighley Road Jolly Wassaillers, and Settle Voices.) 
Don’t forget to bring warm festive clothes, books of words, cheery voices, packed lunch to eat on train, flasks etc. 
Here are the times:

9.30am – warm up and a few songs in Settle Station (north bound platform) 
10:07 – singing on train north to Appleby – singing in station
11:30 – singing in Midland Hotel bar next to Appleby station.
13:06 – train south to Ribblehead – and more singing! arriving 13:45
13:48 – singing other choirs coming from Settle at Ribblehead station and Station inn
16:43 – all singers onto the southbound train from Ribblehead to Settle
16:58 – arrive at Settle, short walk to the Royal Oak pub for singing with Janet Russell and Settle Voices.
19:00 – finish – or join us for supper in the pub
